manifesto
ECCOme is a sub-brand of ecco. We have the same values about comfort and durability as ecco but a different concept around the shoe itself. We want to produce as many shoes as there is a need for, we will not waste a single pair of shoes. Therefore, you are able to create the perfect shoe for yourself, making your own choices regarding style, materials, colours and details. With every choice your shoe can consist of more or less sustainable fragments, it’s in your hands.

With this Project we are giving a solution to the question about how we can offer a different, more personal approach to the customers’ experience of buying shoes.
The concept contains a collection of shoes which can be personalized in style, colour, material and details. Next to the collection is the concept for a store and store interior in order to give the customer an easy way of interacting within the process of customizing his/her own shoes.
Through the whole Process of personalizing the shoe, the customer is able to choose between different materials ranked from least to most sustainable. Information about the different steps, the materials and its backgrounds are placed precisely within the process of personalization to inform the customer about his/her choices.

experience & interaction
I enter the store and get greeted by the store assistant. The store assistants
at eccome are trained from Ecco and have detailed knowledge about the products, the store and the concept behind it. Together we go to the part of the store where I can choose the style of shoe I want to have. In thin part, all of the shoes are grey as a base collection. Only small parts in the heel part of all the shoes are in color. I am choosing the eccome heck 04 and as I already know that I want a light grey base I am able to choose one from the basic collection grey colors.
Next I will try on my size and see if it is the right one and tting well. At another part
of the store I am able to try and choose different insoles. In the next step I am able to choose from different material as well as different colors for the material and the stitches, for the soles and the inside of the shoe. In the last step I can choose if I want a personalize my shoe with details. Finally, I will receive my receite, printed information about my shoe, how sustainable my choices are, about production and goals of eccome and information about either picking it up at the store when the shoe arrives or having it send to my home.
WHAT HAPPENS WHEN I ENTER THE ECCOME STORE?

“MOVABLE CONCEPT STORE.
